Film Photos

This year is different. Very different. I just know it =)

I am somewhat fascinated by film photography or some say tomography?! So I was given a toy Twin Lens Reflex to meddle.

Build it from scratch, tune it here and there and experimented on a couple of film and the results are amazing.

Love the rich colour (life-like). The problem I have with this camera now is taking shoots indoor. It does not have a flash mount and since the ISO is on the film, it is a little tricky.

I have an idea to mount a flash on it but we'll see how it goes.

...there is nothing!

Sometime, I just walk along the streets with no particular direction. Just to get things off my head. Work, People, Money.

Sometimes while walking, I take random shots of whatever that catches my attention and while reviewing them today, I realise my pictures are telling me something.

Perhaps, Emptiness?!

Then suddenly I feel so negative reading what I just wrote about. So forget about what I wrote. Just enjoy the pretty picture =D

... I contemplate.

It doesn't matter where you have been; what matters is where you are going!

Let me ponder a little longer as I walk down that road.

...I thought iPhone 6 was problem free..

...until recently when I was loading Clash Of Clans (CoC), the view just will not rotate.  I tried opening up the iBook and tilt the phone sideways for better reading but it just will not rotate.

I thought I had the screen lock at position but apparently NO! So I took it back to the service centre to get it checked.

All they did was to restore the firmware (DFU restore) and everything is not ok. So a number of my apps crashed apparently because its not compatible with the iOS 8 yet.

For now that DFU restore works for me.

... I was an Android user (Fan)..

... and then I decided to try using iPhone. I got the 5s (gold) and till today, I have to admit I am falling deeper in love with it.

What I like about the android system is that it is really very flexible. You can easily transfer photos and musics in an out of your phone. No hassle; No iTunes.

Apple on the other hand is not as flexible in terms of the moving photos in and out of the phone BUT, it has very stable iOS. Using the iPhone for 2 years now, I have not encountered a hang.

With stable iOS, I don't get frustrated over slooowww~~ response, and lags, and auto reboot. In this sense, even on a bad day, I won't get that feeling of wanting to throw my phone on someone's head.

Now, I have the iPhone 6 sitting on my mac waiting to be use =D

...I know...

... to always look at the bright side of things but sometimes amidst all the tension going on around, I forget (since when did I have Alzheimer?).

But a nice cup of coffee with a friend reminded me that shit happens. Yea it sucks and somethings are beyond repair. You can't just go pressing the reset button and redoing everything that goes wrong.

The disappointment of being impatient is bound to happen. We learn and make the best of the present.
